Another trip to the pool at the end of our drive. But the first time ive seen the sunset reflected in the water. Depending on the time of the year, the sun is normally blocked off by a few hills before it turns into the red dramatic ending. Have been waiting until the sun sets in that exact spot for several months and i was finally was there to see it, and to top it off, it was the best sunset we've had in a while.
But that's not the whole story. I was also blessed with my streak of bad luck. Of all the times, my nose starts bleeding (sorry to the people who hate the thought of blood) but it was poring out. Went everywhere and had my head over the water for ages but didn't show any signs of stopping for about half an hour. But regardless i still set up my tripod with my nose still dripping and got a few shots. Had to phone to have some one pick me up as i was feeling rather weak and didnt want to walk another mile home.
Hope you like it, i think it was worth all the hassle!

EDIT: Thanks for all the favs, I've updated the file to the more natural version, with reduced noise, a better composition and slightly less sharp.
Whoa that looks so good, it amazes me how you manage to make the water look so amazing! The warm colours add a nice feeling and the composition is quite good. I find the appearance of the sun and its reflection intriguing too...somehow the sun's reflection on the water just suddenly stops part way down the water, not fading at all...I find that very unusual to look at. Anyway nice work, and keep it up.
