Taken the other day on one of my random walks to the middle of nowhere to get as lost as I can. Ive gotten to the stage when ive pretty much shot everything worth shooting in a 4 mile radius, well so i thought! Until this time i head off in a random direction and decide to head off from the normal past and into a wood to later come across this amazing stream running through these completely untouched surroundings. Seriously this place is in the middle of nowhere and i wouldn't be surprised if someone hadn't been here in a very long time, it took me long enough to get there.
Unfortunately I didn't have long there before i had to head back or else id be walking through a wood in the dark which isn't a nice thought. When the weather is nice again i'll definitely be heading in this direction once more. But until then i give you this shot, taken with a tripod with one leg missing.

this is such a unique photo, the forest looks so dark and forboding and it just looks like it comes from the black forest of germany or somethin like that. Just awesome. Is this an HDR?

That is truly beautiful, it looks as if I could reach for the waters or take a sit on the stones.

woooooow, love it! the contrast, and the unusual color of the water. on a lot of slow-shutter water pictures, the water is like crystal clear. this water isn't quite as white, which totally completes the mood of this "eerie, mysterious forest"
:w00t: awesome! keep up the awesome work! :D

It's really clear and overall just excellent.
The lighting really works to make the foreground elements stand out.

 EPIC photo. Love the desaturated colour - bar the green. Nice timing on the long-exposure. Well captured. :+fav:
