I dont often do portraiture as i never have anyone that is willing to pose, but i do enjoy it when i get the chance to. Obviously this is me, looking a bit shaggy, scruffy hair and in the process of growing my beard back.
What i wanted with this shot was just to be plain and simple, no fancy composition, no different lighting, after all portraits dont have to consider those things. I wanted to concentrate on a simple but meaning full pose, that neither means one thing nore another. Sort of mona lisa's smile idea.
I may turn this into a new ID, or i may scrap it, i havent decided yet.
