For I See Beyond by iamgoatman For I See Beyond by iamgoatman
Went for another wonder this afternoon to make the most of this brilliant weather we are having. Apparently its suppose to all turn sour over the weekend so im trying to get as much shooting time in as i can, without collapsing of exhaustion that is. Of course in such weather i naturally venture to the pool at the end of our lane, or to give it its proper name, Llynheilyn pool. Couldn't miss up an opportunity with such gorgeous sunshine and cloud formations.

So here it is, the view over the water from the fence that surround it. I decided to go with black and white as i haven't done one for a bit and it really gave it depth.

Hope you all enjoy it.

Do you mind if I ask to what parts did you apply dodge and burn? :)

I dodge highlights mainly on the cloud areas and also some forground to pick out detail. I then burn shadows on the clear sky areas including the reflection to boost the contrast whilst maintaining mild midtones :)

You got a great result! It was worth the time :)
It seems to be a very nice light! I love the contrasts and the clouds add a lot to the photo!

Very nice work. To make a landscape look good in low saturations is a severe challenge since landscape are about its colors. But here u have done well. I like the dramatic skies and the reflections on the water and the good focus.
